Household
A glimpse into the moments we were never meant to witness.
HOUSEHOLD invites audiences to become curious neighbours, watching from across the street as two LGBTQ+ couples’ private lives unfold. One couple moves out. Another moves in. The house remains, but the rhythms of everyday life begin again, bringing different habits, different tensions and different ways of loving.
Like a silent film brought to life, conversations inside the house are seen but never heard. Arguments unfold, laughter erupts, and everyday routines become something strangely compelling.
Through physical theatre, contemporary dance and an evocative original soundtrack, HOUSEHOLD transforms the familiar rituals of domestic life into a funny, tender and sometimes painfully recognisable portrait of love after the honeymoon.
